Trillium: week 4

Just like the mysterious Trillium flower, so too does this house drip with mysterious wonder. Clinging to the side of Screamer Mountain, this 2600 sq ft home boasts glorious views of the valley below.

I’ve had the honor to be apart of this home’s transformation over the past several weeks and it has been nothing short of fantastic! The potential, the opportunities, the crew, the clients…all amazing! Everyone to walk upon this treasure knows that they have discovered a treasure.

stripped down to it’s bones…now we rebuild

There is nothing significant about the structure itself. No unique feature in the architecture that grabs the eye or drops the jaw…and yet. There is something… that “Je ne sais quoi.” I confess I fell in love. Perhaps it is the potential of all that it can be…all that it wants to be. Perhaps it is just that potential I relate to…as though it’s journey mirrors my own and as I grow this house into a home, so too will I blossom.

Construction is underway and this week was a week for transformation! Electrical is in. Walls are relocated. Finishes are selected and the former things are slowly being removed…more to share next week.

OH, and remind to tell you about the Gazebo. . .
